The weather has been all over the place this past week, from rain, shine and snow to extreme winds that caused power outages in a couple of Seattle neighborhoods this weekend, including Magnolia. This Saturday, winds blew at around 30 mph, knocking down trees and consequently power lines. Over 80 homes in the neighborhood lost power. Power has since been restored.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 1st when Mayor Mike McGinn will be holding a meeting concerning Magnolia and Interbay residents at Catharine Blaine School from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a meet and greet, as well as a question session. Other city representatives and department members will also be present for the meeting. The question and answer session for McGinn will begin at 6:45 p.m. This event is open to the public.
